Here is a stunning wedding for you, Aimee and Steve’s winter wedding at Nancarrow Farm in Cornwall. I just love a good winter wedding it’s magical! Every time I shoot one, there is just something really special about the whole wedding. There is a certain atmosphere that just comes with the crisp weather and the festive decorations.
But some elements of a winter wedding can be less straightforward than a summer one. One of these is the nights will draw in quicker. Make sure for your wedding that you take this into consideration when working out your timings for your day. You may want to get married a little bit earlier. But on the plus side because of the shorter days at winter it will mean that your wedding will feel cosy and merrier and not to forget to mention your sparklers will shine brighter
Aimee and Steve embraced all of this with their wedding. They chose Nancarrow farm wedding venue, which is just perfect for a winter wedding. The 5 barns have been beautifully converted giving the venue a truly rustic and rural feeling. Surrounded by open grassy spaces, fruit orchards and fields full of cattle it is hard to forget Nancarrow is a working farm
Aimee and Steve made the most of the lovely accommodation at Nancarrow and both got ready at the farm. This was great for me since I could run back and forth between them making sure I did not miss any moments.
The ceremony was held in the wedding barn and with the rain lashing down outside it made for a cosy atmosphere inside! The rain did not dampen our spirits and luckily we managed to get some good weather through out the day for some photos
I seem to say this a lot but I don’t care!! The reason I love weddings are the awesome people I meet. I am so lucky to work with some amazing people. The thing is when you have an amazing bride and groom like Aimee and Steve they always bring with them some equally amazing friends and family. The result is a belter of a wedding!
