I live in the wonderful town of Falmouth in Cornwall where I work as a photographer. This part of the world is great for shooting weddings, a big passion of mine. There is nothing better than getting out and about with a camera. I have a love for kite surfing badly and loosing my voice when England is playing Rugby...!
I love photographing weddings as they give me an opportunity to do another thing I love, which is to photograph people. Capturing people’s real emotion and happiness is what I just can’t stop photographing... It makes me tick..
But don't just take it from me! Check out what these proper cool couples have said:
“A perfect wedding photographer, choosing Andrew was the best decision we could’ve made.
Andrew is not only talented photographer but his way with people makes them extremely comfortable enabling him to get great photos." - Bill and Doune
“I have nothing but praise, you made us feel instantly relaxed. So relaxed that we almost forgot you were there, hence the incredible outcome in our photos." - Cat and Scott
“Andrew captured our day beautifully. He fitted into all the proceedings with friendliness, sensitivity and professionalism. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for wedding photos that reflect the natural spirit and joy of such a precious thing as a wedding day. Our heartfelt thanks to Andrew, the memories bound up in his photographs will always be a treasure to us.” - Emily and Tom
In a nutshell this is what my life is all about, family, friends and getting outdoors. As well as a photographer I am a husband to my gorgeous wife Gemma and a father to my two amazing kids Erin and Sam.
... I used to work on super yachts. This job was great in many ways. I got to travel the world, see some amazing sights and I met some really interesting people. I worked on one sailing yacht and over 4 years completing a full circumnavigate of the world. This job gave me photography in a big way. I got the bug bad and learnt fast on the job.
Me in the Galapagos
.. Gemma! The yacht that I worked on was private yacht and it had 7 crew. From a captain, engineer, stewardesses and most importantly a chef! This is how I met Gemma who was the onboard working as the chef. The best thing to come out of my yachting career for sure was this girl... How luckily I was to meet her.
I spent some wonderful years working with Gemma on yachts. It let us work together and also get some seriously travelling in all of course accompanied with my camera in hand.
All of this time together was really special and made our friendship and love for each other really strong..
So I know exactly what you feeling like at the moment because I have been there..! The build up to your wedding can be pretty intense since there is just so much to organise. It is like the biggest party you have ever put on and it probably seems like it is a full time job!
Because I have been there I will make the photography part of your wedding totally un-stressful. I will take care of everything so you don't have to
For me my family is the most important thing to me in this world and I am so so lucky to not only have a gorgeous and amazing wife but also have two little totally brilliant sprogs!
After leaving yachts we settled down in Cornwall. Erin and Sam were born and of course they are growing up fast! Exploring Cornwall is what we do mostly as a family.. For us a day or two on the north coast
