Well happy February all…
… It has been a great month so far for getting out and about enjoying the blustery Cornwall weather with the family! Especially if you like storms like Clara and Dennis! It has also been a good month for catching up on the ‘ole blog posts … so here I am catching up with this amazing wedding at Trevibban Mill Vineyard. Working as a Cornwall wedding photographer means that the summer months can be busy with wedding photography and editing all those wedding photos. I really want my couples to get their photos as soon as they are ready. Hence sometimes the blog posts get delayed. Any way on to this wedding…
This one is such a great wedding! It is Sophie and Jon’s wedding which was held at Trevibban Mill vineyard. The venue itself is in the heart of the actual vineyards. The building offers an amazing space to host a wedding and has verandas that look over the acres of vineyards. Trevibban is working vine yard first before it is a wedding venue, that is secondary. But that does not take away from the fact it is a great place to get married! Nestled in the heart of the Cornish countryside, Trevibban Mill is a spectacular wedding venue offering a stylish and contemporary space in a beautifully rural setting. Close to the dramatic North Cornish coast, next to the picturesque fishing village of Padstow. Trevibban Mill is an award-winning vineyard known for its stunning collection of Cornish wines and cider and locally sourced food where you can relax in the lush surroundings encompassing 11,000 vines, and 1,700 apple trees..
Sometimes a wedding just flows with out worry and this was one of those! The boys arrives on their bikes which kind of set the tone! Beards, bikes and lots of style… enough said. It was great to see Jon’s passion and his groomsmen come together and ride! I know nothing more about motorbikes so I will now stop talking about them! Sophie arrived a little bit more comfortably but equally as stylish in an amazing Mustang.. you could hear it coming down the hill!
The couple got married…
…in the wedding barn which was really intimate.. Let’s just say it was full to the brim of friends and family! The great thing about that was the atmosphere was special. You could hear everything.. everyone was part of the ceremony…. I love that about weddings, when the guests become part of the day properly. This is what weddings are all about, the people! People make great weddings… not the bought parts… (even though they can help!)
Trevibban …
…has got so many great options as a wedding photographer for locations to take a bride and groom away for their wedding photos. There are some amazing vines to have a walk down that look amazing! If you are lucky you might even see a sheep! But also Trevibban Mill wedding venue has a lake and some orchards..These are both really great to just have a relaxed walk around.
This is how I love to photograph couples…
… and when the best photos happen! It is a great time for couples to just have a catch up and be themselves. The best part when I photograph couples like this is they forget that I am even there… and then that’s is when the best photographs are made… I love it !
Congratulations Jon and Sophie, your day was amazing!
